Subscription and purchases

What does Dovor Premium include?

Every tale in the archive, beginning to end, with audio narration and the psychological readings of each one. The tale map, with the connections between questions, figures, images and dynamics, and its PDF export. Search with no monthly limit, and saved tales and collections with no ceiling.

Can I buy one tale without subscribing?

You can. Some tales carry the Buy tag: a single payment, and that tale is yours forever, with the full reading, narration and analyses, no subscription. Tales you bought are gathered in StoryFlix, right below the search.

How do I know where I subscribed?

Open Settings in the app: the subscription card says where it came from — the App Store, Google Play or our site. It matters because cancelling happens in different places, and only whoever processed the payment can cancel it.

I changed phones and the tales show as locked.

The subscription follows your account, not the device: sign in with the same e-mail and everything comes back. If a tale still shows as locked, tap Restore purchase in Settings — that asks the store again and returns what is already yours.

Cancelling the subscription

I subscribed on an iPhone or iPad (App Store)

Subscriptions bought on the App Store are managed by Apple, and neither Dovor nor any other app can cancel one for you — that is Apple's rule, not our choice.

Your reading continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that the account returns to the free plan, and nothing you saved is lost.

  1. Open the iPhone Settings and tap your name, at the top.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Choose Dovor and tap Cancel subscription.

Open my subscriptions at Apple

I subscribed on Android (Google Play)

Subscriptions bought on Google Play are managed by Google, and cancelling happens there.

Your reading continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

  1. Open the Play Store and tap your picture, top right.
  2. Tap Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  3. Choose Dovor and tap Cancel subscription.

Open my subscriptions on Google Play

I subscribed on the site (card)

This one you cancel yourself, on the desktop: go to dovor.com.br, open Settings and use Cancel subscription on the subscription card.

The cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for — the same deal the stores give. Until then nothing changes, and the page starts showing the date the subscription ends.

Does cancelling delete my account?

No. The account stays, with your saved tales, your collections and the place you stopped in each reading. What changes is access to the Premium tales. If you do want to delete the account, that is a different thing, and it lives in Settings.

Refunds

I bought on the App Store and want a refund

Refunds for App Store purchases are decided by Apple, and only by Apple. We cannot grant one, refuse one or hurry one along — we cannot even see how a request is going.

The request is made at reportaproblem.apple.com, with the same Apple ID used for the purchase. Apple decides case by case.

Ask Apple for a refund

I bought on Google Play and want a refund

Refund requests for Google Play purchases start with Google. In some cases Google refunds on the spot; in the others the request reaches us and we decide.

If Google says the request should go to the developer, write to support and we will sort it out.

Ask for a refund on Google Play

I bought on the site and want a refund

Purchases made on the site go through our payment processor, and there the decision is ours. Write to support and tell us what happened: a charge made by mistake, a duplicate, something that did not work — we refund it.

I bought a tale by mistake

Write to support as soon as you notice. For purchases on the site we refund directly. For purchases in the stores the request has to go through Apple or Google, and we help you walk that path.

Account and reading

I forgot my password

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot my password. An e-mail arrives with a link to create a new one.

Can I read without internet?

The last tales you opened are kept on the device and still open with no connection — the app says when it is showing what was saved. Tales whose narration you downloaded also play offline.

How do I delete my account?

In Settings, at the foot of the screen. Deleting erases your reading data with us. Careful: deleting the account does not cancel a subscription bought on the App Store or Google Play — cancel it in the store first, or the charges continue.

Didn't find what you needed?

Write to support from inside the app, under Settings, or reply to any e-mail of ours. We answer within two business days.
