The Goose-Girl at the Well

An old woman who lives with her geese in the middle of a wilderness is taken for a witch by the people of the region. A young count who helps her carry her bundle leaves with a little emerald box, and what lies inside it leads to a queen who has lost a daughter, and to a well where someone washes in the moonlight.

Content warning: A father’s abandonment of his daughter, threat of death by wild beasts, mild physical violence (blows with a rod and nettles), accusation of witchcraft.
